When you book with us, it is very IMPORTANT to note that our EVERYDAY Business in New Zealand is dealing with multi-national clients who are travelling throughout New Zealand and we trouble-shoot for any problems which thy may have during their rental period. We have a LOT OF CONNECTIONS! There is NOBODY who has more experience and resources than RVONROAD as we are UNIQUE in the marketplace. You get FREE PREMIUM SERVICE for no additional cost to what you would normally pay when you book via us.

We intend to soon add RVs to our own website which will be rentable via a Peer to Peer Platform. When that happens you will have the best of both worlds as you will have our backing when you are out on the road and suggestions for travel.

For RVs, you have the option of booking with traditional Motorhome companies who have 'bricks and mortar' pick up and drop off locations OR via 'Peer to Peer' Platforms (like an AirBnB format), which are individual Owners and Hirers with a Booking Platform in between. There are advantages and disadvantages with both options.

The traditional companies have an advantage in that they can offer one-way rentals between their Depots, allowing you to pick up say in the North Island and drop off in the South Island. This you generally cannot do with the Peer to Peer options (although this may become an option in the near future), however some Owners will offer this as a service, although it is not advertised generally.

The disadvantage with the traditional companies is that they can often be more expensive, although they do have special deals available.

Should you decide to book via a traditional RV company, please complete the Form below and we will then be able to check on options for you. In these instances we would receive a commission from the RV company and your price would be no different than booking directly....the big advantage with booking through us being our knowledge in the business in New Zealand which should give you additional peace of mind in us assisting where necessary, should you get any issues.
